Sprinkler technician
Altebra is a leading player in the design, prefabrication, installation and maintenance of water and foam sprinkler systems. Altebra has also specialised in fire detection, gas detection and gaseous fire suppression since 2011. Our customers are active in various industries, primarily in Belgium and the Netherlands. Altebra has its own engineering office and a state-of-the-art workshop with automated welding robot and powder coating system.
You are a safe pair of hands in fire protection
You will join a team of technicians who install activation-ready sprinkler systems across Belgium (and occasionally in the Netherlands). You work to a high level of quality and accuracy with a sense of order and you always follow workplace safety rules. You don’t mind early starts or working at heights.

So what does the job entail?

Installing and configuring sprinkler systems for immediate use.

Installing sprinkler pipes, generally at height on a tower waggon.

Other tasks on the ground such as preparing wires, drilling and sawing.

Fixing sprinkler heads in place.

Who we are looking for
-
You have completed technical training (TSO/BSO sanitation, metal or mechanics) at A2 level and/or at least two years’ equivalent work experience.

You can read and interpret building plans.

Ideally you have experience with sprinklers or installing piping.

You are quality- and safety-conscious.
-
You have a very good command of Dutch.
-
You are not afraid of heights.
-
VCA and tower waggon certification is a plus.
